The Class: The 84 Asanas 

This class follows a rapid two-hour time pace. Great for practitioners with a foundation in 26&2 that desire to develop deeper in asana. All 26 postures are included in this sequence as are many asanas you see now in competition. I am trained by Esak Garcia in this method.  This sequence is how it was shared with him by Bikram and Emmy. I've spend much of my time learning, practicing and sharing this particular practice the past 5 years. I'm delighted to teach 84 asanas for the 2025 national practitioners. 

Tara Johnson, 2024 US Women’s Gold Medalist
Tara is a Pacific Northwest native who started practicing yoga at 31 years old. She went to her first teacher training later that year. Tara finds yoga competition an avenue to better know herself and as a way to realize that anything is possible. 

Tara has spent the last 5 years training with Esak Garcia and practicing his e84 method. She enjoys sharing it immensely. Brandy Lyn has been an influential teacher & coach as well. Tara sends a shout out to her home studio, Expand Yoga in Tacoma, WA, where she has taught for the past 13 years.
