As we close the book on an unprecedented year in 2020, we take time to look back at the positive aspects that have come out of the adversity many of us have faced.
USA Yoga has made a concerted effort to continue to host opportunities for our athletes, including workshops with master teachers, and our virtual annual competition this past fall. We will continue to offer you opportunities to interact with your fellow yogis throughout the coming year. And we all hope we can meet in person for the National Competition next August in Kentucky.
The generosity we have seen from the yoga community has been overwhelming, especially considering the complicated economy this year. We are continuing to work toward expanding opportunities for yogis of all ages. USA Yoga is funded by donations from our athletes and sponsors and the power of every donation is meaningful and enables us to continue our work for everyone in our yoga community. Your gifts help us continue our mission – to promote the practice of yoga as a means to improve the physical health and mental well-being of people of all ages and fitness levels and to advance yoga asana as a sport.
By supporting USA Yoga, you help to ensure that even more people can experience the powerful benefits of yoga, inspiring them to live healthier, more productive lives.
Whether you have given a gift, become a member, attended a virtual workshop, sponsored an event, or participated in the virtual competition, we are grateful for your involvement in our community. On behalf of everyone at USA Yoga, we thank you for your ongoing support. We wish you peace, joy and love this New Year and look forward to being together in 2021!

Welcome to USA Yoga
Yoga Asana competitions originated in India hundreds of years ago and are still being conducted there today as a means to inspire yoga practice.
With your support, you bring this spirit of healthy competition to the United States, where, according to the most recent study by Yoga Journal and Yoga Alliance, more than 36 million people practice yoga in the US today.
As a donor, athlete, coach, judge or sponsor, you inspire practitioners of all ages to improve their practice. Your gifts and membership brings newcomers to the practice of yoga and the sport of Yoga Asana.
USA Yoga’s mission is to promote the practice of yoga as a means to improve the physical health and mental well-being of people of all ages and fitness levels, and to advance yoga asana as a sport.
With your participation as a donor, an athlete, judge, coach, audience member or sponsor, you advance yoga as a sport. Your gifts and membership create educational and outreach programs, regional and national yoga championships, and scholarships to yogis. Your participation provides athletes the opportunity to demonstrate competitive excellence and to inspire others to participate and advance in their own practice.
